2018 Q2 Review
Well, here I am again, three months later, at the end of a whirlwind performance season, trying to take stock of another measurable chunk of time.
As I mentioned in my last update, I've had the pleasure of listening to and adjudicating many groups over the last little while at various festivals, including the TCDSB Music Festival, MusicFest Canada, and the Trills & Thrills Festival. It's always invigorating to see what music educators are doing with their programs and their students, and to have the opportunity to share with them some of my approaches to music making.
Our season finale with the Rouge River Winds also was a huge success; our largest-ever audience was treated to a well-performed and thoroughly entertaining concert. This gives the group great momentum heading into the summer and the upcoming season. 2018-19 details will be available soon, but in the meantime, here's a video from the latest concert: Guy Woolfenden's "Illyrian Dances".
Finally, I have exciting news up my sleeve which I am excited to share as soon as details are finalized. Stay tuned!
