The York University Wind Symphony returns to live performance with their end-of-term concert for Fall 2021. Under the direction of Bill Thomas, the program features Omar Thomas’ Of Our New Day Begun and Arturo Marquez’ Danzon No. 2, along with works by Yasuhide Ito, Pierre La Plante, Aaron Copland, and more. Assistant conductor Pratik Gandhi leads the woodwind and percussion sections in a pre-recorded performance of Julie Giroux’s A Time to Dance.
